Ten Moore Stephens member firms make IPA’s 2014 Top 100 list

New correspondent firm in Zimbabwe

Moore Stephens Africa is proud to announce the inclusion of new correspondent firm, PNA Chartered Accountants, into the Moore Stephens network. Grassi Co and Zetlin De Chiara host architecture and engineering market outlook briefing

Moore Stephens North America member firm, Grassi & Co. is  joining forces with Zetlin & De Chiara LLP  to host the second annual A&E Market Outlook Briefing: Planning for 2014 and Beyond on Tuesday, April 8th from 8:00-10:00am at the Center for Architecture’s Tafel Hall. At the event, the results of the 2014 A&E Market Outlook Survey, which was completed by leading architecture and engineering firms in the New York Metro area, will be revealed.

Moore Stephens urges changes to UK tonnage tax

Moore Stephens has made representations to Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC) about changing the way in which the written-down values of vessels are calculated under the UK tonnage tax rules, which it considers are not realistic in terms of their interaction with the capital allowances regime.

Armanino acquires Rose Business Solutions

Armanino, the 29th largest firm in the United States, recently announced that it has acquired Rose Business Solutions, Inc., one of the nation's largest Microsoft Dynamics GP value added resellers. The merger creates new geographic expansion for Armanino and its Dynamics consulting practice in both traditional on-premises clients located in Southern California and Hawaii as well as a large segment of cloud-based clients.

Clive Barton awarded an MBE

Congratulations to Clive Barton, senior partner at Moore Stephens Jersey, who was recently awarded an MBE in the Queen's New Year's Honours list. This is in recognition of Clive's parochial and charitable community work over many years.
