Ten MSNA member firms named to Accounting Today's 2014 "Top 100"

Moore Stephens firms on the Top 100 include:

Carr Riggs & Ingram (23); Citrin Cooperman (25); Armanino (29); Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt (39); The Bonadio Group (50); Blue & Co (54); SC&H Group (58); Doeren Mayhew (61); Grassi & Co. (79); and Decosimo (87).

Beyond that, two Moore Stephens firms—Rea & Associates and Brown Smith Wallace—were named “Firms to Watch,” which Accounting Today refers to as firms that “seem to be growing apace, forming a deep and widening pool of strong candidates for joining the Top 100.”

Many of the firms were named “Pacesetters in Growth.” CRI grew revenue by 44.9 percent to $161 million; The Bonadio Group grew 22.3 percent to $66 million; Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt grew 17.2 percent to $86.9 million; Doeren Mayhew grew 16.67 percent to $53.2 million; Citrin Cooperman grew 14.4% to $143 million; and Armanino grew 13.1 percent to $112 million.

“Our member firms’ continuing success is a result of their ability to leverage the current economic expansion by developing new service niches in key growth industries, as well as addressing the growing and challenging needs of foreign-owned businesses,” says Steven Sacks, the association’s executive director.
