Moore Stephens appoints new member firm in Sierra Leone

Moore Stephens International Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of one of Sierra Leone’s leading auditing and accounting consultancy firms, Leone Consultants, to establish Moore Stephens Sierra Leone.

At the launching ceremony of Moore Stephens Sierra Leone, at Cape Sierra Light House, Aberdeen, Moore Stephens Sierra Leone Chairman and Client Partner Relations Manager, Emile Carr said, “Our objective in bringing Moore Stephens to Sierra Leone is so that we become the best audit and assurance services with innovative, entrepreneurial and collaborative network, which also would enable the wider network to grow and to make a significant difference in the local and global market.”

Carr explained:  “In 1967, when Emile Carr Sr. set up Leone Consultant and Accounting and Tax Consultancy, he did not see this far. Today is another milestone and we are confident that we would be leaving an institution that would be a legacy for future generation to come.”

In his statement Moore Stephen Sierra Leone, Managing Partner, David Carew emphasized, “We believe that when we create an institution it must be sustainable, and we must focus on its survival going forward.”
