Robert J. Burkart obtained his CA designation in 1986 and then went on to complete the in-depth tax program. Rob joined DMCL in 1989 and is instrumental in guiding the firm’s strategic development. He has extensive experience in both owner-managed businesses and non-profit organizations.
As a tax specialist, Rob advises on tax compliance requirements and strategic tax planning. He was instrumental in growing the firm’s tax program, which now encompasses both a strong Canadian and US tax practice.
Outside of his professional life Rob enjoys skiing, golf and travel.
