With over 16 years’ business recovery and insolvency experience, Mike regularly helps professional advisers to assist their SME clients who are in financial difficulties.
He deals with all types of formal corporate and personal procedures including administration, receivership, liquidation, voluntary arrangement and bankruptcy. He also undertake advisory work and cashflow reviews for banks and other major stakeholders in relation to underperforming businesses.
Mike’s expertise also includes solvent exits and corporate restructuring including members’ voluntary liquidations (MVLs) and section 110 reconstructions.
In addition, he advises trade creditors on their own debt recovery options, particularly where one of their customers has entered a formal insolvency process and representation at a creditors’ meeting is required.
His varied sector experience encompasses construction, printing, manufacturing, retail, engineering, leisure, real estate and IT.
Mike is a Chartered Accountant, Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, fellow of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals and member of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management.
He is also Deputy President of the Beds, Bucks and Herts District Society of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
