Bonadio Group names new partners

Moore Stephens International member firm, The Bonadio Group has announced the promotion of Jamie Keiser, CPA, and Leah Powell, CPA, to partner. The promotions took effect on January 1, 2013 

Keiser joined Bonadio in 2010 as a principal in the firm’s commercial division. Bonadio now has 47 partners across the state.

“One of the true pleasures I get from my career is to see great people develop their skills and become successful,” said Tom Bonadio, CEO and managing partner, The Bonadio Group.  “Jamie’s experience and knowledge of the Central New York market and in-depth knowledge of audits and commercial credit relationships that she has developed has helped us continue to grow strategically across New York State since she joined us two short years ago.”

Powell has been with The Bonadio Group for 25 years, having joined the firm in 1988 upon graduation from Rochester Institute of Technology. She works in The Bonadio Group’s commercial division, providing tax consulting and compliance for both private and publicly-held companies.  Powell’s areas of expertise include working with senior living and low-income housing facilities in addition to assisting her long-standing individual clients with their tax compliance needs.

Her unique talents and industry perspective will help us continue to expand our reach into new markets in the coming years."

The firm has more than 350 employees statewide and annual revenue of more than $50 million. It first entered the Syracuse market in 2007 with the acquisition of Loguidice & Kamide, CPAs PLLC.

It acquired the Syracuse operations of Philadelphia–based ParenteBeard in 2011, which added 21 employees and four new partners. Bonadio has additional offices in Geneva, Perry, the Utica area, Buffalo, Albany, and New York City.
